The front door opens onto the dining table, with the living room beyond it. The table seats six, which is where anyone here to work ends up spreading out, and the kitchen handles a good deal more than coffee.

Housekeeping comes on set days, so you know when to expect us. The entrance is your own.

Named after

Nelson Mandela 1918 to 2013

South Africa's first democratically elected president. Before that, twenty-seven years a prisoner. Lusaka gave the African National Congress a home through its long years in exile. Mandela came here within weeks of walking free in 1990.
